Inside the Temple... a chill wind blows dusts and cobwebs which brush against your cheeks. Can you hear a pale hissing somewhere up ahead? Dare you light a torch?

Wave it at anything that slithers...

As you cautiously enter the first chamber of the Temple, you find a scroll tied with a black ribbon sitting on a small, dusty ledge inside the door. You lift it up, and the scent of ancient parchment mixes with the smell of incense already in the air. The scroll crumbles a bit in your fingers, but you know how to unroll it so that it doesn't disintegrate before you read it. What ancient truths will be revealed within? Will this be the key to unraveling the secrets of the Temple of Sublunaria?

Quickly you deduce that this is a message from the High Priestess of the Temple.

Greetings, fellow explorers and adventurers... This is my little tribute to Indiana Jones, "Professor of archaeology, expert on the occult, and, how does one say it? Obtainer of rare antiquities..."

Well, that's one way of saying it.

Indiana Jones is my hero, my obsession, and my way of sometimes escaping the mundanity of every day life, or at least dressing it up with a little adventure. There are a great many excellent websites devoted to The Man With The Hat out there so I will try to make this different. Rather than provide you with basic information about the movies, Temple of Sublunaria is devoted to bringing you closer to the spirit of Indy.

As you explore the Temple, you may find many strange things lurking in the corners and down the hallways...but they will all have one thing in common: a certain intrepid and handsome archaeologist. By the end of your visit, I hope you will have found Indiana Jones.

Enjoy! Just watch out for the snakes...

Lady Cynthia, Baroness of Sublunaria
